Observation notes: I am unsure of this ID. It might be Northern Checkspot or another, but it has faint dots on the lower wide orange band that I had seen on some Dotted Checkerspot photos.

Coordinator notes: Dotted and Arachne are very similar. some experts consider them the same species. In NM we have Dotted in NE NM on the prairies east of I-25 and Arachne in all major NM mountains. Thaks for sharing this excellent photo.
