Observation notes: Near summit of Mt. Ashland. Approximate 2.25 inch wingspan. I could see this identification going several ways but I'll put my money on S. zerene zerene.

Coordinator notes: Definitely not egleis and thanks for including an upperside view. The hydaspe and zerene can be similar in that area (I've collected on Mt. Ashland) but my gut feeling is hydaspe based on appearance and wing shape.-Ken Davenport
