Observation notes: I have been seeing this species each night during the week of the 4th of July. Night temps. have been in the low 60's. Our property has some pine upland, open meadow, and a large amount of wetland, both alder, willow, and bottomland wetlands (maple, ash). Each night that I let the dogs out, with a headlight on, this moth makes its appearance. We purposely do not have any outside lighting on our property(28 acres).
