Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: a colony of more than a dozen Atala butterflies are now present in the Nance Park sea grapes oceanfront just north of the public restrooms, they have been sighted every day since last Wednesday. I also observed one of the exact same type but larger, on my Coontie plant, I live up the street several blocks. That was a week or two prior, but I did not get a photograph that time. They are there every evening in Nance park before sundown when we walk by.
