Coordinator notes: Pahaska and Green skippers are impossible to distinguish based on visual characters alone. Behaviorally, however, male pahaskas hilltop while male green skippers patrol drainages. You photographed a male. The dot you placed on the map suggests a location near the Whiterock Canyon rim and the photo also hints of dry, stony high spot, so I went with Pahaska. In comparison, Green skippers might be on the canyon bottom. Let me know if you were on a canyon bottom and I can alter this record.
