Observation notes: there were at least 4 in this area; I saw them in various parts of the 50 acre prairie over the course of 4 hours and they were very active; I could see 4 at one time so I know there were at least that many; they were settling on various flowers and plants including black-eyed susan (in photo), red clover, and lead plant which had yet to bloom.
