Observation notes: Conditions: warm, sunny. Habitat: at seep in hilly upland hardwood forest/mixed pine-hardwoods (Rock Creek/trail in Sicily Island Hills). I see Southern Pearly-eyes most times I visit this spot, but wasn't sure if this P-eye was So. or Northern (don't think its Creole, but...?). All three species have been reported from Sicily Island Hills.
