Observation notes: 70 degrees F very light to no breeze. Subject appeared to alternately fly and then bask on rocks near an outcrop in dry meadow at 6000 feet. Did not observe subject nectaring. Abundant flowers in meadow included members in aster family, monardella, Calochortus among many others. Small stream 50 meter away.

Coordinator notes: Coincidently, I was at the Burger King at Shasta City that day trying to figure out which mountain in the Trinities was Mt. Eddy. I did get a Zerene Fritillary on Mt. Shasta that day, but yours looks like an egleis below-Ken Davenport
