Observation notes: It was on the chair on my deck where I normally sit. I was licking what I assume is salt, since the hot, humid weather recently turned the deck into a sauna. The ambient temperature was close to 90 degrees, and it was very humid. I waited to try to get a dorsal shot of the wings, with no luck. I finally moved toward the butterfly, hoping it would fly off, then come back, or land somewhere else nearby, but it flew off too quickly and erratically for me to see the dorsal of the wings and didn't come back.
