Observation notes: Habitat is heavily disturbed grassland with a lot of invasive and non-native plant species adjacent to runoff holding ponds. Temperature was 78 degrees, sunny. organism was seem in flight and nectaring on this single species of flower, always with wings spread as shown in photos.
