Observation date: June 19, 2020
Submitted by: JudyLY
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The third photo below is the best shot of the orange colored moth, although there is also a Marine Blue butterfly at the upper left of that photo.
Status: Resident
Verified by: jwileyrains
Verified date: September 30, 2023
Coordinator notes: E. unicolor is in the same genus as the Orange Beggar, but it doesn't have the color variation (and the Orange beggar isn't found in New Mexico). Also, I don't think that's Leptotes marina in the third photo - pretty sure it's a day-flying Geometridae moth of some sort. Take a look!
