Observation notes: On a milkweed plant but don't think it was feeding. Reportred to eat sweet fern (Comptonia peregrina) and smartweeds (Polygonum spp.) but none of these grow at this location. Columbine (Aquilegia canadensis) also reported as host plant does grow nearby.
