Observation notes: Observed flying and nectaring on Dandelion blossoms adjacent to water treatment plant outflow. Also seen landing on sandy soil. Three to four individuals were noted. They were often very difficult to locate once they landed anywhere but on a flower. The first two photos are of a different individual than the third photo. Rather surprised to see sulphurs flying this early in the season.

Coordinator notes: Rene, this could be either eurytheme or philodice. also, they may interbreed. it is early for philodice.
