Observation notes: NOTE: This is a duplicate submission and I don't see a way to delete it. Sorry. This lovely Indra swallowtail (P. i. shastensis I assume) was nectaring on Indian rhubarb (Darmera peltata) along the McCloud River in Shasta Co., CA. It fed for only a moment and then move on.
