Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Located in Georgia Fall Line Sand Hills habitat. There was a lot of yucca around. The Cofaqui Giant-Skipper flew by and landed on the opposite shaded side of a tree initially out of my view. The Cofaqui was extremely backlit and the light was varying quite a bit as I was taking photos. The Cofaqui became aware of my presence and shuffled sideways on the tree out of my view again. I then moved around to the other side for a couple more photos before the Cofaqui flew away.
