Observation notes: Several individuals nectaring in a patch of blackberry on the edge of the Beaudoin Prairie at Leonard Preserve. Also chasing and courting. Many other butterflies were nectaring here, including Hobomok skipper, American copper, tawny edged skipper, and common ringlet.
