Observation notes: There have been a few individuals of this species flying in the past weeks, but on June 5 there were a good number of fresh butterflies gathered at moist soil. Maybe a couple dozen seen that morning. Perhaps not many by normal standards, but with the severe drought in our area, butterflies have been difficult to come by.
