Coordinator notes: Scant dark marks on an otherwise medium background tells me this is a male Purplish Copper that is worn a bit so the purple glint is lacking. The orange crenulation at the back of the hindwing is much longer on the Ruddy Copper female. A photo of the underside would facilitate the ID process. Wheeler Peak has several cool butterflies, so thanks for going there! and submitting this pic!
