Observation notes: Was on glass balcony railing, 3rd floor of condo, above lawn & shrub area. In my 74 years in Saskatchewan, Canada, I have never before encountered this type of wasp-moth. Temperature was 26C and it has been exceptionally hot & dry. There is significant forest fire smoke blown into the area from northern Saskatchewan. The wasp-moth was trapped on the inside of the clear glass railing.
