Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct. It was a good year for fulvia and I expect reports for Aug. and September. If you see any at the places you have reported it this late summer, submit another and I'll verify for the later flight. Google "Papilio (New Series) and find #14. This discusses better terms rather than "patrolling" for mate-locating behavior in butterflies (and other insects). James Scott discusses these aspects and uses the terms "rait" "flait" and "fleek."
