Coordinator notes: A great way to spend your birthday! ;) Not likely Alianthus. Easy to confuse since they do look similar. Especially the saplings. Their host is Juglans sp. If you rub it and the leaf doesn't really have a smell, it's Black Walnut. If it has a strong, sort of medicinal soapy scent, it's Butternut.
