Observation notes: A single male on top of a grassland hill. Cobbly alluvial soils, not limestone. Not far from the 1st Boulder County record from July 21, 2011.

Coordinator notes: Confirmatory second record for Boulder County. Good to know fulvia is surviving along the Front Range though limited. If you can, check in spring (late May) and see if you find it then also. This individual was certainly a successor from an earlier flight or diapause from any the year prior.
