Observation notes: I think this is a very dark mormonia nectaring on wild onion in a high, wet, spring-fed meadow with many other mormonia. 3rd photo is looking down at the meadow.

Coordinator notes: This is probably what Shapiro called erinna, others think it is an undescribed subspecies. I have not collected this in California, but have erinna from Oregon.-Ken Davenport
