  Sighting 1310398

Observation date: September 01, 2021
Date notes: A sunny and warm afternoon, hardly a breeze blowing.

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Two of us were cleaning marine debris off the salt marsh when I saw the butterfly over the marsh fleawort. It was more concerned with the fleawort than my attempting to get near for a picture. It kept its wings folded for the most part, and of all the pictures I took I never did catch them not so before it moved on further along the salt marsh, near the salt marsh pond, where a gaggle of geese and a great blue heron were hanging out and not too bothered by us.
