Observation notes: I found this large Caterpiller in the driveway were the asphalt meets the sidewalk of my rural Apartment Complex. I knew it was from one of my favorite insects the Hawk Moth. I would have normally left were it belonged which wasn't a asphalt driveway or placed in a safer place but when I picked it up it was kind stiff and cold.Right now it's getting pretty chilly at night and in the mornings which wound explain the condition it was in.I decided to bring it back home and see what I could do for it. I noticed it was moving much the next morning and was still kind cold so I placed it in a container under heat lamp for a few minutes, which did the trick or was now moving around like normal.Ive decided to try and successfully raise it into facinating Great Ash Spinx Moth.
