Observation notes: This moth, (apprx. 1/2" l x 1/2" w), was spotted on top of a white covered lid of a laptop computer that was on a dining room table. The dining room light was off and the room was dimly lit. Outside temperature, apprx. 68F, humidity 66% and cloudy w/chance of light rain. (Two days earlier, it was a very wet afternoon w/sudden thunderstorms.) It lay quite still, with wings outstretched. The photo was taken with it inside of a clear glass and on a piece of white paper. (I had seen a much larger-sized similar moth a few months ago, on a nearby wall inside an open living room one morning, but it disappeared before I could catch a snapshot of it.)
