Observation notes: Dainty sulphurs were nectaring from turpentine bush and gumweed flowers growing adjacent to the Soledad Canyon Trail. There were several additional butterfly species present as these were among the latest blooms available to provide a nectar source. The afternoon was warm, windy, and under full sunlight.
