Observation notes: Clear, breezy, temp in low 60s F. One seen (smaller than the Sleepy Duskywings) feeding on Arizona valerian.

Coordinator notes: Persius and Afranius are hard to differentiate; Afranius likes to patrol drainages while Persius likes hilltops, so I am using your canyon bottom location to call this Afranius. Also note that Persius males have a dense wash of silver/white scales on the forewing, which this individual lacks.
