Observation notes: This one was near the stream crossing about .6 mile from parking area on the Upper Water Canyon Trail, Los Alamos County. It was sitting on a wild bee balm flower.
The weather was partly cloudy and calm. Temperature in the mid-sixties. I did not get a photo of the upper side. I was most interested in getting a good photo of the tail area. There were several of this sort "patrolling the trail" while we hiked.
