Coordinator notes: Arley, as promised a while back, I am moving this over to Gray Buckeye. it does show some characters of Common, too, but that is pretty typical, that genes of both can be present in any individual. taxonomists are struggling with the buckeyes. A recent DNA study suggests that here in the West, what have been calling Common Buckeye is actually a distinct species: Gray Buckeye. Not all authorities are yet onboard, however, including BAMONA, so I have to approve this as Common. but stay tuned . . .
