Observation notes: 85º and 95% humidity. Clear day after a delgue of 3.5" of rain the day before. Amazed everything survived! Identified a rare (for our area) skipper in the Coastal Virginia Wildlife Observatory pollinator garden at James City Marina. Found a smaller gray-brown skipper with marks matching a Eufala. Confirmed sighting with multiple photos & local entomologist. Saw butterfly with president of CVWO Brian Taber.
