Observation notes: This butterfly was feeding on the nectar of a flower of Milkweed Vine (Cynanchum laeve). The flowers are very fragrant. I could approach this butterfly very closely. Even when I crossed in front of the sun shading it, which spooks many other butterflies, it continued to feed unfazed.
