Coordinator notes: Shapiro (1981) mentioned how confusing argyrognomon are in that area and now that name has been replaced by anna with argyrognomon being in Europe. His study found no Shasta Blue in the Trinities though that species does occur in Siskiyou County-Ken Davenport Mary. This was flagged as misidentified and looking at it more closely, I see some forewing checkering and heavier markings on the forewing than anna has.-Ken Davenport
