Coordinator notes: A Purplish Copper (the only choice on the BAMONA species list)...in the mountains these coppers are different and use a different host plant group. I call them the Mountain Copper (Lycaena florus). It has fewer orange lunules at the edge of the hindwings (you can see in your photo...only a couple instead of a full complement the lower altitude Purplish Copper has. Maybe they will add the Mountain Copper to the list one of these days. Mike
