Observation notes: I have only seen this moth once. I had never seen a Hummingbird Moth before. He was really fast & showed up just as it was starting to get dark & the temps were in the 70s. He was going into every bloom on my Petunias. The picture isn't great, but he was hovering like a hummingbird & sounded like a hummingbird.
NOTE: It came back tonight (9/24/22) at 7pm for a few minutes. I am not sure which Hummingbird Moth it is now that I saw a pink color on it's wings. I definitely need more help to ID this one. I will watch for it tomorrow's to try & get a better picture.
