Observation notes: A nice view of the ventral side of this species. "ofella" and similar Mayan Crescent "myia" look very similar and the angle of this photo conceals some key identifiers. White-dotted is much more common in Panama, but had to be careful with this one. Generally, the ventral "myia" is more orange and black. With "ofella" the eyes spots adjacent the white HW band are surrouded with blue. The Mayan does not seem to have this blue at all.
