Observation notes: Behavior much like a Pholisora catullus, which was common in the area. Low flight along the social trails through the Lamar Community College Woods, where this species seems to be well established. At least two seen, but only one photographed.

Coordinator notes: Yes...hayhurstii does seem to be fairly well established around the college woods at Lamar...now we need to find it elsewhere along the Arkansas River maybe on east? Mike
