Observation notes: Near the base of a very steep, rocky hillside above a wet meadow. I have no dorsal view of the male and just the partial DFW of the female. I think I assumed they were mylittia at the time, but now I'm leaning towards P. o. orseis. These were 2.5 miles west and 1,500' higher than my last 2021 submission.

Coordinator notes: These appear to be orseis, they are clearly not mylitta nor the blackish Phyciodes pulchella found in that region. They do appear to match my series of orseis we found at Ash Creek in the Klamath River Canyon.-Ken Davenport
