Observation notes: She was 1 of 6 healthy Promethea Moths that emerged from her Cocoon. I had 1 male and the rest female that were released at the correct times to complete their cycle of mating and reproducing. The Cocoons were found wild on Ash Trees. I removed them from the tree and hung them in a butterfly enclosure to keep them safe until they emerged successfully.
