Observation notes: Many individuals flitting in sunny opening (lawn) surrounded by a Douglas-fir/mixed conifer forest. Fast wing beat. Stopped occasionally to sun, but did not see them on flowers. When sunning, wings are open like in attached photo (warm trash can). Cool spring day (low 50F degrees).
