Observation notes: Common in backyard habitat, no nectaring behavior observed, some mating behavior. Landscaping includes moss rock with abundant lichen; perhaps caterpillar host? Beyond landscaped backyard, habitat is Pinon-Juniper near a dry arroyo that also has abundant lichen. We will search for caterpillars.
