Observation notes: All members of this species seen on Tan Oak at this location. Quiet and resting early in the afternoon, very active, with males chasing around Tan Oaks later in afternoon. No Canyon Live Oak present here. Mixed Tan Oak/Douglas Fir forest on west side of Santa Cruz Mountains and San Andreas Fault, near crest at 2000 ft..
