Observation notes: Seen hopping around wild Sunflower blossoms alongside the trail. A little edgy, but stayed in one place long enough for a single good photo. Weather was clear (post rain event the night before) but on the cooler side - low to mid 60's and slightly breezy from the west. A couple of Marine Blues hanging in the same general area. The trail here runs just above a running creek but is itself in the chaparral community, dominated by sage, rhus, lemonadeberry, mustard, and sunflower.
