Coordinator notes: Persius does not get that far south. A reliable place for persius is up the Sherman Pass Rd. in Tulare County north of Kernville, especially where Alder Creek at 6700' meets the road, go down to the creek and the benches. But Pacuvius Duskywings and Silver-Spotted Skippers are also there, along with Large Marbles, Gray Marbles, occasional Lembert's (Sheridan's) Hairstreak, Indra Swallowtail, Clodius Parnassian, Edith's Checkerspot and so on.-Ken Davenport
