Observation notes: The butterfly was feeding on the flowers of the Catmint (Nepeta) in our garden. There were many blooms on the plant and it visited most of them it seems in the 15 minutes I was observing/photographing it. I stood next to the plant and after a bit it fed on flowers next to my hand, and my stomach. There were many honey bees on the plant as well, and at times they'd push the butterfly off a flower - it did not resist! Other pollinators shared the flower as well, as did a female hummingbird that I accidentally scared away. It was a sunny windless morning at 26 C.
