Observation date: July 13, 2024
Submitted by: BendyK
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This moth got my attention because of its size. It was only about ¹/2 the size of the grape Leafroller/folder moths that I see. Its body seemed also much shorter in proportion to its wings. All three photos are of the same moth. The evening was warm and humid. This moth showed up at my porch light .

Coordinator notes: I would lean towards Desmia maculalis on this based on you observation notes about the size. The underside of the abdomen needs to be seen to determine which species it is.
