Observation notes: Rocky Mountain Parnassian I'm guessing, but images in my guidebooks are ambiguous, and I see that there's a lot of local variation.

Coordinator notes: Yes...the only species we have in Colorado is the Rocky Mt. Parnassian and there are variations throughout the mountains depending on location and high or low altitude. The populations in the area of your sighting have tendencies toward those in the San Juan Mountains in SW Colorado which are different than populations in the high central mountains and of course those at lower mountain elevations.
