Observation notes: Very vibrant colors when curled up. Seems to be in good health. Found by groups of Aster flowers. Western NY. Weather has been up and down in temperature. Very cool at night about 50-56 degrees. And anywhere from 62-78 during the day. I have never seen one of these before and I have seen many many different species of Moths in my back yard. This year is the first year I have sighted "new" species of Tree moths.
