Observation notes: Clear, sunny, calm, high 60s. Nectaring and flitting between flowers in a large patch of purple asters at the point where the Rendija Canyon trail turns away from the cemetery after coming down the hill from the meadow. Thanks to Steve Cary for helping me with the ID.
