Observation notes: Several individuals seen flying and perching among an extensive patch of Heliotrope and associated Tumbleweed adjacent to a drainage canal just east of San Joaquin Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary. The bugs were very energetic and a difficult photo target. Sharing the space with abundant Fiery Skippers.
